Mindful Activity for the Week~ Mindfulness of Posture



This weeks activity from How To Train A Wild Elephant asks us to check in with our posture at a variety of points during the day (when we are standing, sitting, laying, eating, standing in line, studying, driving etc.). When we notice that we are slouching to gently straighten up. My girls have basketball tryouts and clinics this week so they plan to try to power pose when listening to the coach or waiting.

We plan to try to kindly remind each other by saying check in with your posture. I feel so fortunate to be on this mindful adventure with my family, their reminders are very helpful. Plus it is fun to have a family focusing on things like complementing each other (last week's activity).
